As my boys get older and more active, finding time for competition is harder and harder. I did manage to submit a few images in the professional photography competitions and two earned additional merits in the Professional Photographer’s of America (PPA) regional (SEPPA) and international competitions (IPC). One also merited at the Professional Photographers of Professional Photographers of NC (PPNC). This is my second year participating in competition, so I am thrilled to be adding merits! Achievements at these competitions are particularly gratifying because they are judged by panels of Master professional photographers that have achieved success and have been trained for rigorous professional judging. Most importantly, they are awesome opportunities to learn and grow as a photographer so that I can deliver better products to my clients.
