I don’t know about you, but I am ready for sandy toes and salty kisses! Some of my favorite memories are from family time on the beaches of North Carolina and some of my favorite photographs were taken there, too. Now is your chance to schedule your family session at Atlantic Beach! Already have a family portrait? Consider a girls weekend or reunion with friends and commemorate the event with fun photos! What to wear: The classic beach picture is khaki shorts/pants and white shirts or white dresses. You can’t go wrong with a classic look. Navy pants or jeans with white are also sure bet. If your family would like a different look, try a nautical theme with red, navy, and white or shades of blue or teal. For the 5:00 sessions pastel would be great as well, but I would avoid them for the 6:30 sunset pictures. A quick Google search of “What to wear beach portraits” will give many more ideas. Hair and Makeup: Remember the beach can be quite windy. Consider this with hairstyles. If you will be keeping your hair down, a good spraying with firm hold hairspray is a good idea. Bring along combs and tissues (the photographer will also have these supplies).
Session Times: Sessions will be scheduled at 5:00 and 6:30 each afternoon. The end of the 6:30 session should result in warm golden skin tones.
